Cancellation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

A Time to Heal Massage Therapy requires a 24 hour advance notice when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a massage either online or through communication to a staff member. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If you receive a discount for your service in the military, law enforcement, or emergency services when you receive services you will be charged the full price of the missed appointment, as you did not receive services. If you reschedule the missed appointment at the time of your cancellation, you will be charged for half of the canceled appointment. If you miss the following appointment as well, you will be charged in full for both missed appointments.

No appointments can be booked online within a 12 hour window prior to the appointment start time. This is to ensure your therapist is both aware and prepared for all appointments. You may still, however, call to book a same-day appointment, and if there are any available, staff will work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

For any cancellations, best effort will be made to contact the client for the first 48 hours, including phone calls and emails. If payment is not arranged within those 48 hours, or a new appointment is not rescheduled, the credit card on file will be charged for your missed appointment[s]. 

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, you will have the remainder of your appointment to receive services. Regardless of the length of the massage actually given, you will be responsible for the full amount of the booked appointment. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Therapist cancellation

In the event that your therapist may become ill, have an emergency, or otherwise cannot make your session (i.e. a doula client goes into labor), every effort will be made to rebook as soon as possible for your convenience, and $10 will be credited to you to use in appreciation of your understanding.
